Karen Lyons Nowadly

Born and raised in Buffalo, New York, She graduated from Nardin Academy and SUNY College at Buffalo with my Bachelor of Science degree. She spent close to a decade working in the United States Senate for Daniel Patrick Moynihan in Washington, DC, and New York. Karen entered the commercial real estate industry in the 1990's, before transitioning to residential real estate full time in 2000. This where she found my true calling. Frequent (and magical) visits to Siesta Key inspired their permanent move, and she relocated my family from Orchard Park, NY to Sarasota, FL, still choosing to spend their summers in beautiful Western New York.

She has built an extensive knowledge of the neighborhoods and lifestyles of Sarasota from the golf course communities of Lakewood Ranch to the beach communities of Siesta, Longboat and Casey Keys.

Karen considers herself an expert in both matching her clients with their perfect getaway or investment property. She has a proven and effective marketing system to attract the right buyer for the best property. She primarily focuses on waterfront vacation homes throughout Longboat Key, Siesta Key and Lido Key, and her office on St. Armands keeps her in the buzz of Sarasota daily.

She has negotiated elite multi-million-dollar transactions - vacation residences, investment properties and bungalows, and at all times she offers outstanding, pro-active, and confidential representation.

She stays up to date with the latest and greatest technology, with a firm belief in regular ongoing education. She has earned the prestigious designation of Graduate Real Estate Institute (GRI), which provides in depth training in legal and regulation issues; only 19% of all Realtors have earned this designation. She is currently becoming certified as a Resort & Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) concurrently with the Luxury Homes Certification (LHC). Real estate laws and regulations are not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information.

She is a very proud mom of 3 sons and a Golden Doodle. Her twin boys are graduates of both St. Martha and Cardinal Mooney Catholic Schools in Sarasota. Her youngest son graduated from St. Martha as well and is currently a Freshman at Cardinal Mooney where he pays Lacrosse. Their puppy attends weekly training as well, and she is amazed at how much dogs can learn. She volunteers at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and St. Martha Church and Cardinal Mooney School. She plays tennis in leagues around town and is taking up Pickle Ball.
