Karen Wishon

Since 2007, Karen has built her real estate business giving solid advice and commitment to her clients. She has a master’s degree in accounting from NC State, raised 3 children in Raleigh, and has personal experience with building, renovating, buying, and selling homes over the past 28 years. Many of Karen’s clients are repeat customers because they know they can count on her to help them accomplish their real estate goals. A great number of those people are referrals from clients of a friend, family member, neighbor, or co-worker. Karen takes those referrals very seriously and works hard to make sure she exceeds their expectations.

She and her husband, Barry, bought a vacation home at Sunset Beach in 1997, drawn to the peaceful island setting with its pristine beach, beautiful waterways, variety of wildlife, and of course the gorgeous sunsets. She has enjoyed the island life with her children over the years and now loves sharing it with her grandchildren. Downtime in Raleigh and the coast includes walking, yoga, tennis, golf, reading, and listening to live music at the great venues in both areas. Karen not only continues to serve clients in the Raleigh area, but also helps clients with buying and selling at the beach. With 15 years of residential real estate experience, she is versed with all aspects of real estate from staging, vendor referrals for updates and improvements, market analysis, strategic marketing, contracts, and negotiations. She has been a top producer for years and can be trusted to guide you through the process.
