Karin Peters

I was born and raised in Los Angeles California. In the late 70's I made my way to the Catskills, fell in love and decided to make it my home. I went back to school and obtained a degree in sociology. Later I studied film at NYU's Tisch School. In 1998 a good friend of mine introduced me to real estate and encouraged me to get my license, and I never looked back. Living here allowed me to explore all of the different towns that make up the Catskills, with each town having something unique to offer. I traveled from north to south, east to west, partaking in winter sports, kayaking in the Hudson River, tubing the Esopus River, or take a class of two at several local colleges. If you are a foodie, chow down at one of the many fantastic eateries. If you love vintage like me, shop for antiques or discover one of many small boutiques. Living in the Catskill you can experience a great sense of community. The best part of real estate for me is making new friends and helping people fulfill a dream. If you are looking to make a change there is something for everyone including your beloved pets. I currently share my life with two rescued pups, Mabel and Pickle.
