Kate is a native of Austin, Texas and a graduate of The University of Texas, where she majored in International Business with a minor in Spanish. She spent her early career in International Marketing/Advertising for The Coca-Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia. She later owned an import retail boutique and made it a local neighborhood success. In addition, Kate owned an interior design business which coincided with her passion to focus on what she loves today in real estate.

Kate has called Baltimore her home since 1999. Besides her wonderful successes with Monument Sotheby’s International Realty, her career began at the privately-owned company of Hill & Company Realtors. She is active in various local charitable organizations. She also volunteers and supports her children's schools (Good Shepherd, Calvert School, Garrison Forest School, and Gilman School). Kate is a member of the Baltimore Board of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
Kate, her husband and their three children currently live in the Green Spring Valley area of Baltimore County (prior neighborhoods were Federal Hill and Ruxton). When Kate is not engaged in real estate, she enjoys traveling, tennis, gardening, cooking, being with friends and family and walking her two dogs.
