Kate Murlas

Kate Murlas is passionate about real estate and loves working with buyers and sellers to obtain their dream home. She is dedicated to her clients and excels at making the process as collaborative and fun as possible. Kate uses her fierce negotiating skills and in-depth market knowledge to ensure her clients have the best representation possible. She is excited to be a part of The MacPherson Group, one of the top-producing teams in the Chicago area.

Kate was born and raised in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago and has called this wonderful city home for her entire life. As a lifelong resident, she is incredibly familiar with all regions of Chicago and tapped into what each neighborhood has to offer to its residents. She also has strong ties to the North Shore where much of her extended family is based.

Kate graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and French. She then worked in finance as an Investment Analyst for Prudential Capital Group for 3 years, followed by a 12-year career in pharmaceutical advertising at AbelsonTaylor.

When not working with clients to find their perfect home, Kate enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew and son George. She also loves running, practicing yoga, and checking out local boutiques & restaurants.
