Katharine Carroll

Katharine Carroll, or Kat as she is known to many, first fell in love with real estate more than a decade ago while looking with her partner for her own home. During the search and diligence process, it became clear that she had a knack for finding fantastic properties. With previous experience in sales, as well as a background in product and project management, she found her ability to connect with people and break down the sales process made this role an unexpected, but natural fit.

Katharine has a thorough knowledge of all aspects of the real estate business having served multiple roles - sales associate, managing broker and now co-founder/partner of The reSolve Group. An industry veteran, she excels at helping her clients navigate the critical phases of selling or buying a home. While Kat loves analyzing objective market data and property values, her favorite part of her role is advising clients based on their needs and understanding what is most important to them.

Kat is kind, supportive and resourceful and she genuinely loves to help people accomplish their goals. This often means helping clients to define their goals at the beginning of the process. Kat is patient and adept at discovering what’s most important, and then lays out a strategy and plan of execution in order to minimize risk and stress.

The reSolve Group team provides high-quality service in a way that is increasingly difficult for a single agent to do at scale. Kat and her team have streamlined the buying and selling process so their clients can make informed decisions on a timeline that works for them.

Fun fact: Kat is a former professional cyclist who also raced with the US National Team all over the world from 2005-2010. Outside of real estate, Kat still loves to ride her bike, hike in the local foothills, and spend time in her garden. She hails from Nashville, TN and her inner ‘Southerner’ comes out whenever she’s in the kitchen. Kat is always looking to cook something new with enough to share with friends or neighbors. Kat and her wife are supporters of multiple organizations devoted to extending and preserving basic human and civil rights, especially Human Rights Watch, NCLR, and she serves on the board of Second Harvest Silicon Valley.

Katharine has been in the Bay Area for more than 15 years and currently lives with her wife and children in Silicon Valley.
