About Katherine

Katherine has worked with people her entire career, until 14 years ago only in Healthcare. She has spent her life taking care of and educating people. In her early career as an Emergency Medical Technician and volunteer firefighter, that was where her passion was. Later, with 5 children and a busy husband, it changed to doing health screenings, educating, and teaching CPR which she still does too, when time allows, with North Shore University Health Systems. By the time her youngest child was going to kindergarten, she had a new passion, though her family would tell you it was an obsession, REAL ESTATE!! Previous clients may even tell you that she is obsessive!! She needs to get the right family in the right home! She loves architecture, history, and the challenge!

For the past 9 years, She has been helping people find their dream homes. She loves it!! What's not to love? She loves helping and educating people as she always has. She gets to guide them through the process of buying and/or selling their home, a huge transition in a family's life. Educating them along the way, and most of the time continuing to learn about myself.

She came about in the Real Estate world at a time when short sales and foreclosure sales were more often than not and where technology is leading the way. She decided that @properties was a perfect fit for her.
