Kathy West helped us look for a home for about 9 months. In that time, we changed our search areas and parameters several times, sometimes completely reversing on something we had previously asked for. Kathy remained patient with us and quickly adapted to our evolving needs.
From the first time we met her, we felt she was very honest - she told us what she knew and didn't make up something she didn't. If there was ever a question she couldn't answer on the spot, she would research and get an answer back to us rapidly. She was also very proactive, and would gather materials for our review before we asked for them.
Kathy was very accommodating throughout our search, supporting last-minute showings, writing offers late at night, and even answering some calls on the ski lift! We are very pleased with the house we finally settled into and recommend Kathy's services to those looking to buy.

Kathy West successfully located us a home in Mt. Vernon Wa. during a very competitive seller's market (2022). She through much research found a home with all of the physical home requirements that we were looking for (home sq ft, garage space, location, and size of overall property, ect.). The escrow company that she coordinated with completed the sale within 2 weeks of our offer which was extremely fast, and the process (buyer and sellers) had no administrative problems at all. Overall, very good/successful home buying experience. Recommend Kathy West as a purchasing or sales agent for others in the future. Greg

Kathy knows the area well, has good connections with local professionals to help fix up the home, and knows an excellent photographer who really made the house look fantastic. She has a solid understanding of what buyers are looking for, and spent several hours helping add the finishing touches on the place with her own staging items to make it a cut above what we'd normally have left it at.

Kathy is always responsive via text or call, and she is careful to answer all your questions -- not just the first one in the list. She also has extensive experience negotiating.

When buying the house she was able to get us a free replacement water heater and a few thousand dollars extra of repairs that we didn't think we could push for. She also got the sellers to sign immediately by adding just a few thousand to our offer, which saved us from losing it to an offer later that day that matched ours and waived the inspection.

When selling it she helped us think clearly about tradeoffs with the offers on hand and potential offers in the future. She gave us options to take and supported us in our decisions instead of trying to persuade us one way or the other.

We worked with Kathy to both buy (3 years ago) and sell this house, and it was a great experience both times. We would highly recommend her.

Kathy was very professional from listing to closing. She provided a comprehensive analysis of the market for our property looking at it from a couple of different perspectives so that we could market to a wider audience.
