Since 2001, Kathy Heetland has lived in thriving Atlanta, and in 2006, became a REALTOR®, determined to share her passion for real estate with clients in Metro Atlanta and beyond. After growing up in Michigan and graduating from Michigan State University, Kathy found herself on a journey of relocating across the country. For 15 years, she lived in seven states, and wow, what a learning experience that was! Her travels afforded Kathy first-hand experience in the industry, market reputations, and trends and gave her personal insight into the trials, emotions, excitements, and satisfactions associated with buying and selling real estate. Whether moving across the country or across town, it’s a lot of work and decision-making, and you want to have someone you trust by your side. Kathy credits much of her success and the foundation of her business to these experiences - she wouldn’t change a thing!
Primarily focused in Alpharetta, Cumming, Milton, Roswell, and Woodstock, with an interest in the metro Atlanta communities, Kathy enjoys working with first-time homebuyers, seasoned movers, and all those in between. Everyone has something to share, and one of the greatest parts of my job is meeting new people, learning their stories, and helping them achieve their real estate goals with custom strategies and campaigns, crafted for their property.
For 14 years, Milton was home while Kathy raised her two daughters with her husband, Craig. Just when their girls were leaving the nest, Craig and Kathy had the opportunity to live in Asia. Never one to turn down a challenge, they spent over three years in Singapore, working and exploring Southeast Asia. Now, having a residence in Downtown Alpharetta, they are continuing to enjoy 'city life' with its ever-changing and expanding landscape. Kathy's personal time is spent enjoying her family, yoga, travel, good wine, and a good book.
