Kathy Helm

I have lived in Hardin County all of my life. I grew up in the small community of Rineyville playing softball, camping and riding my bike in the summers and cheerleading at my school in the winter. I graduated from West Hardin High School and attended Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
I started my working career at the local daily newspaper and spent 26 years there. I then worked for two metro dailies- The Tennessean in Nashville and The Courier-Journal in Louisville. Most of my newspaper background was in advertising design and sales. I worked mostly with realtors helping them with their print advertising and building their web pages. I decided in 2005 to become a Realtor myself and have loved every minute of it.

My hobbies include playing music with friends, swimming, gardening and UK basketball. I am a member of the Heart of Kentucky Association of Realtors, the Elizabethtown Hardin County Heritage Council, the Elizabethtown Rotary Club and I regularly volunteer for community events, especially those that support downtown Elizabethtown.
