Kathy Morgan is not just your typical realtor. Yes, she’s a Long and Foster realtor licensed in Maryland and DC, but she’s got 18 years in the trenches and she’s pretty damn good at what she does. I’ve worked with plenty of realtors, and I could have hired any one of the zillions of realtors on the market to find a property to purchase, but I chose Kathy. Why? Because I needed someone with years of experience; someone with a strong knowledge of Maryland and DC real estate laws; someone with patience, diligence, and integrity; and someone who would fight for me and have my back to seal the deal. That’s Kathy.

I sold a property in another state and had 45 days to find a “like kind” property in Maryland through the IRS 1031 Exchange.
Kathy spent numerous hours researching properties, showing me properties, submitting offers, and all to have each one outbid in an incredibly competitive sellers market. To deal with this issue, Kathy came up with creative ways of maneuvering the tight market because I refused to be a victim of the money-sucking bidding wars. She not only found and negotiated the perfect property for me, but she met my deadline despite the bidding wars, IRS regulations, and a global pandemic!

I’m so grateful for Kathy’s professionalism, and her incredible energy and attention to detail. She’s got a positive attitude, she’s a great communicator and always returns my phone calls in a timely manner.

Kathy is the best. She was the seller's agent for a property I own(ed) in Silver Spring and I presently live in Colorado. I was active duty at the time when I left and hadn't been back in about 10yrs. She is smart, hard working, and pragmatic and I sold the property quickly.
