About Kayleigh
Kayleigh Kulp has done it all — bought, sold, restored, developed, and invested — and now she helps clients do the same with confidence and clarity. Her specialty in helping clients buy, sell, and steward historic and legacy properties across Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia stems from her personal experience.
Her path into real estate began early, spending summers in her father’s construction business—learning how homes are built, positioned, and brought to market. Though she pursued journalism professionally, real estate remained a constant thread.
After graduating from New York University, Kayleigh returned to the Washington, D.C. region and built a career as a business journalist. That experience sharpened her research skills, attention to detail, and ability to ask the right questions—forming the foundation of her advisory approach today.
In 2014, she began acquiring and redeveloping historic properties. Over the past decade, she has completed residential renovations, minor subdivisions, adaptive reuse projects, and complex redevelopment work, including the conversion of a commercial building into a mixed-use asset. Her fluency in zoning, land use, and permitting allows her to reposition properties thoughtfully and unlock long-term value others often miss.
Kayleigh is especially known for her work in historic preservation. By pairing preservation strategy with financial discipline, she helps ensure that culturally significant buildings remain both relevant and economically viable.
For buyers, Kayleigh serves as a strategic filter—guiding clients toward properties with architectural integrity, lifestyle fit, and legacy value. For sellers, she brings a developer’s eye for positioning, a journalist’s ability to tell a compelling story, and a deep understanding of how discerning buyers evaluate value, history, and place.
At the core of her work is a belief that real estate shapes communities. Kayleigh approaches every transaction with a steward’s mindset, helping clients make thoughtful decisions about the places they will shape—and pass on—next.
