With over twenty five years experience in selling multi-million dollar solution deals in the high technology industry where superb communication and negotiation skills are a must, becoming a REALTOR® thirteen years ago was a logical career move for me. Despite the many potential hurdles in completing a real estate transaction, creativity, perseverance, empathy, and commitment are all key attributes necessary for a winning REALTOR® / client relationship. Satisfying client needs at a fair price has, and continues to be, a mantra of mine.
After a couple of years in the residential real estate industry, I had the pleasure of devoting four years of my real estate career as a managing Broker for an internationally recognized real estate company in their Dallas/Park Cities office. My experience coaching and mentoring over sixty agents, specializing in a variety of residential housing options and urban neighborhoods, provided me the opportunity to broaden my market and housing knowledge as well as be involved in hundreds of real estate transactions. This experience has proven invaluable to me but more importantly, has benefited my clients.
I am a 6th generation Texan and attended college at the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at Arlington where I received BBA and MBA degrees in sales and marketing management. I grew up in the mid-cities and have lived in the DFW area for over fifty years. I've owned homes and resided in Dallas, Fort Worth and the mid-cities in both urban and suburban settings, and in neighborhoods ranging from historic homes, suburban single family homes, and high rise condominiums. For the past eleven years, I have enjoyed high rise living on the Turtle Creek Corridor.
I have always believed that market focus and knowledge is an absolute necessity for a Realtor to effectively represent their clients. Those Realtors who represent clients in areas where they lack market knowledge are doing their clients a disservice. My specialization and focus is specifically high rises, townhomes, and single family homes in urban Dallas and the close in neighborhoods. If a buyer or seller is outside this market area, I am always delighted to leverage my history, background, and extensive Realtor network and refer them to a Realtor with extensive expertise in a particular area or suburb.
