I love mornings! My favorite way to start the day is with a giant cup of coffee and the Wall Street Journal. It’s not everyone’s idea of an exciting start, but as a kid who was raised by a teacher and an accountant, it's just what I do. I am passionate about learning and am constantly striving to gain industry knowledge for the benefit of my clients.
Growing up in the mountains of Virginia, the youngest of seven children, negotiation and collaboration were essential for survival. Instilled with a sense of civic responsibility by my parents, I pursued an undergraduate degree at Radford University and earned a Master of Public Administration from NC State. This laid the foundation for a 10-year career in the public sector, including my role as a fiscal analyst for the NC Legislature. These experiences honed my analytical and negotiating skills, preparing me for a successful transition as a top-producing Realtor.
When I’m not catering to the needs of my valued clients, I’m a devoted wife to a wonderfully supportive husband, Spence, and proud mother to our incredibly understanding daughters, Elizabeth and Lily Kate. Our golden-doodle, Reagan, isn’t quite as forgiving when things get busy, so his walks are a must to keep the peace! If you decide to work with me, you’ll also learn that I love live music; I’m always up for a friendly tennis match; and I’m working on my golf skills, but let’s just say for now, I have mastered driving the cart. You’ll catch me cheering for Alabama football, where Elizabeth is a student, and I am a huge fan of Friday night lights at Cardinal Gibbons, where I actually spend most of the game watching Lily Kate cheer. I’m also a serial volunteer. Having served on several non-profit boards in the past, I now enjoy more hands-on volunteering in the community. After nine years of co-owning an independent brokerage, I was thrilled to partner with Keller Williams in December 2023. Being a part of Keller Williams offers a great support structure and world class training opportunities to further enhance my skills to the benefit of my clients. I pride myself on offering exceptional service and building relationships, not just closing transactions.
