Since the 90’s, Ken Rubman has been demonstrating all that is possible in real estate when you work with someone who is knowledgeable, focused, and disciplined. “I deeply believe in the idea that there is no better investment than real estate,” says Ken. “I’ve designed my entire business approach around the concept that value should always be at the center of the equation – whether you’re buying residential or commercial real estate, for personal use, or as an investment property.”
Ken also says he gets great satisfaction out of using his expertise to guide and advise clients. In fact, during the real estate recession in 2007-2009, Ken successfully sold more than 300 homes – much to the delight of both sellers and buyers. “It was a thrill being the voice of reason,” he recalls. “Sellers were very pleased that I had strategies and tactics to get top market value for their properties, even as home prices were falling 1% to 3% per month. I still receive thank-you calls about that.” On the other side of the situation, Ken often receives thanks from buyers during this time as well. “Because they were able to trust my insight and knowledge, they now have a ton of equity in their homes and properties.” Among his other real estate achievements Ken also lists the experience of selling a home to Misty May Treanor – 3-time beach volleyball Olympic gold medalist, and her MLB-player husband, Matt Treanor, who was a Florida Marlin at the time.
Today, Ken specializes in residential and commercial … homes with a luxury focus, investment properties, and commercial properties such as warehouses and apartment buildings. Ken is a licensed Real Estate Broker, and has been professionally coached by Mike Ferry since 2004. Ken also has a Master’s Degree in Marketing and a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
Originally from Long Island, New York, Ken has been a South Florida resident for 29 years and counting and is familiar with all the popular neighborhoods and real estate destinations in the greater Miami Beach, Miami Aventura, Sunny Isles, Fort Lauderdale, and Palm Beach metropolitan areas.
Ken’s partner (and wife) is Marcella Acosta. Marcella is from Medellin, Colombia, she has also lived in London England, Napoli Italy, NYC, and Miami Beach (for the last 25+ years). Marcella has been highly successful in the world of Fashion … she Modeled throughout Europe for years … owned the first swimsuit factory in South America (age 19) … has had over 30 different Retail locations (Marcella Acosta, Made in Italy) including 22 in Miami Beach / USA. Marcella loves Real Estate, and as Ken’s partner she adds years of experience, fluent in 6 languages, and love to make our clients happy.
