Kim Malek

Kim grew up in the beautiful small town of Narragansett, RI with her older brother and 2 younger sisters. In 1994 she married her childhood sweetheart, Jody. Right out of high school she became a hairdresser, and shortly after she entered the restaurant business and worked in catering for 14 years. They began raising their 3 sons together when they bought their first little cape in Voluntown, CT. She knew that in raising a family she would need more of a flexible schedule, and so she decided to get her real estate licenses in CT & RI in 2003 when her sons, Jake, Josh & Luke were only of the ages 7, 5 & 3. To say she had her hands full with 3 little boys and juggling a full-time job was an understatement! Her first year in real estate she sold her little cape in Voluntown that their family outgrew, and they settled their family in Ledyard CT where they have loved being ever since.

She knew that a career in Real Estate would provide her not just a flexible schedule that allowed her to be there for her family, but also give her the opportunity to interact & work with the public, which she has always loved. She’s always supported small local businesses, where everyone knows each other by name. She always had the goal in her career to start her own brokerage by the time her kids were grown and on their own. Let’s face it, being a mom is a full-time job in itself! So, in 2019 when her husband and her became “empty nesters” she was able to start this next chapter in their lives ...and with incredible support from family, friends, and all of her past clients- she couldn’t have done it without you!

She will always give 110% for her clients to make sure that every person receives the exact same dedication and focus that she would want to get. She’s worked hard to live by a higher set of standards where their working relationships are built on trust and friendships. At the end of the day, it's about building lifelong memories with people, gaining their trust along the way, and doing what's best for her clients.
