About Kimberly
Kimberly Delmore, known as Kim, is Delmore Realty's owner and principal broker. A Hawaii real estate licensee for 17 years, Kim was raised on the island of Maui. She specializes in providing exceptional representation to those buying and selling Maui real estate. Kim has been an active member of the Realtors Association of Maui (RAM), serving on its board in several capacities, including Treasurer and Central Maui Regional Director. Kim has been a long-standing member of the MLS committee at RAM and has served on many of RAM's committees, including the Presidential Scholarship committee and the Wishing Well program. Kim's real estate designations include the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation and the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation. CRS is the highest professional designation awarded to REALTIORs in the residential sales field, earned by less than 4 percent of REALTORs. Kim is also a member of AREAA (Asian Real Estate Association of America). Kim received the prestigious Aloha Aina REALTOR Award 2003 for Outstanding Newcomer, selected for providing excellent service and follow-up to clients and fellow REALTORs. Kim graduated with honors from the University of San Francisco with a B.A. in Communication in 1998 and H.P. Baldwin High School in Wailuku in 1994.
Before real estate sales, Kim worked in human resources and facilities departments at several companies in California's Silicon Valley, coordinating high-growth, fast-paced recruiting efforts and facility expansions. After spending eight years on the mainland, Kim decided to apply her educational and work experiences to a career in real estate. She obtained her real estate license in Hawaii in 2002 and embarked on selling Maui real estate, becoming an agent in what was then her parent's real estate brokerage, Delmore Realty. Kim focused on the Oahu market between 2004-2010 while licensed as the Broker-in-Charge of Delmore Realty's former Oahu branch office and, before that, as an agent at Kahala Associates. She was also certified as an estate agent at Hong Kong Sotheby's International Realty, where she lived abroad in 2010. When not working, Kim runs, takes spin classes at the YMCA, or spends time with her husband and their two children. Kim also serves her community as a Waikapu Community Association board member.
