We’ve had the pleasure of working with Kurt selling one home and purchasing two and I can’t recommend him and his wife enough. If more stars could be given, I would. Highly experienced, knowledgable and professional Real Estate Agent. Being a first time home buyer, Kurt guided us through the process with patience and grace. He removed a large portion of the burden from us when it cames to scheduling or process related matters which was a huge help. Kurt also only provided us with the best homes selection, tending to what we wanted in a home, but only giving us options he was certain would make it to the finish line, which likely saved us thousands of dollars in inspections. I never felt like he had other clients, even though I know he did. Always answered calls and texts, regardless of the time, and never strayed away from questions. Truly a subject matter expert in all areas of his profession. If you are looking for somebody willing to go above and beyond for you, this is who you want on your team. My husband and I were recently in the market to purchase a home and the absolute best decision we made was to contact Kurt Kraus to help us through the process. We were not sure if we wanted to purchase resale, build new and it had been 20 years since we purchased our last home. Kurt was amazing to work with. He took the time to listen to our needs and created a day of looking at homes that gave us a scope of what is going on in the market. Kurt is so incredibly well versed in every single aspect of the home buying process, from market knowledge, financing and new construction build. We ended up buying new construction home. There was a time that I thought why would you need a realtor for a new build as you have the builder's sales team to assist you. Now I know I would NEVER purchase a new build without a realtor like Kurt. Kurt was able to negotiate a better sale price on top of the builders' incentives! Also, Kurt is well versed on the construction side. He has a building inspection license and provided us an inspection of our home before our home orientation. Kurt worked diligently with the sales team and superintendent of the build. Kurt was at our home over three hours doing the inspection. What peace of mind knowing Kurt was ensuring every part of the build was high quality. There were no surprises at the Home Orientation and there were plenty parts of the build our eye would never have seen yet Kurt's eye did! Kurt is very professional, and I cannot speak more highly of him. Honesty my husband and I share our story with all that we can! From day ONE Kurt made our home purchase process an absolute delight. I work in the insurance industry, so I get to hear often of the process of home purchase, new and resale alike, at any level price point of a home as well and the bumps, obstacles and stress that come along with it. We had NONE. Honestly. Kurt navigated us through the process and having him in our corner with his incredible knowledge of every part gave us peace of mind the whole time and the most wonderful experience! I guarantee the incredible detail to the build of our new home was in part that Kurt was able to oversee the process. Kurt Kraus is TOP NOTCH! If more stars were available I would add them! Kurt and Kim are the best realtors I've had the opportunity to work with. I flew in from out of state and literally had 1 day to find and purchase a home. Kurt and Kim spent a "marathon" day with me and an offer was made and accepted.

Kurt listened to the needs of our family and he and Kim only showed me homes that were in the specifications and price I requested. Kurt was extremely knowledgeable about the builders and the quality of homes we visited. They both know real estate inside and out, as well as knowing the community.
This made my experience not only fantastic, but I was able to fly home and begin a cross-country move feeling confident in my decision.

Because we were moving from CA to FL, we were unable to be available for the final walk-through. Kurt stepped up again to represent us. He completed a very thorough walk through and I have no doubt found things that I wouldn't have known to check. He kept us well informed every step of the way so we felt part of the process and knew exactly what was happening.

Additionally there were some things I wanted to have done to the home before we arrived. Kurt gave me a list of recommended vendors and made the home available so the work could be done prior to our arrival. I used ALL of his recommendations which resulted in quality work being completed. Our home was turn key ready upon arrival.

I can say wholeheartedly that Kurt and Kim went above and beyond in our home buying process. When choosing a realtor do not hesitate choosing Kraus Home Team. You will not be disappointed!

Kurt will fight for you, treat you like family, take you through the highs and not-so-highs, talk sense into the technicalities that are the home buying process, and celebrate your triumph with you at closing! He’s an elite expert, and his experience is INVALUABLE, especially for a first-time homebuyer like myself. My credit wasn’t in the best of shape and I had no money for a down payment; I truly thought it would be impossible for me to ever own a home. I write this as I sit on my back patio in my own sizable backyard of my 1500 square-foot brick and mortar, 3-bedroom , 2-bath home where myself, my girlfriend, and our two dogs wake up every day and thank God we had Kurt in our corner. Any other agent would’ve given up and moved on to an easy sale. Not Kurt. He brainstormed with my lender and fought for the best deal. He negotiated with the seller and the seller’s agent tooth and nail to make sure the property was right for me. He walked me through the inspections, the appraisal, and was invaluable in guiding me through the VA process. And Kurt is only part of the team you get. Kurt’s wife, Kim, is also an expert in all things real estate. Together, they’re a formidable force guarding against the pitfalls of what is usually a cut-throat business. They’re family. It was amazing to work with Kurt! My girlfriend and I were assigned Kurt from Veterans United and we were not disappointed. Searching for our first home we had little knowledge on the process but lucky for us Kurt helped us every step of the way. When looking through homes, Kurt’s skill set from when he was a home inspector really shined. He was able to point out some things that we didn't notice, like about how much life the roof might have, checking to see if there was moisture in the walls, asking questions that we didn’t think too. He also made it to our first and final walk through for us when we were stuck in Michigan and couldn’t make it to Florida. All the way through the closing, purchasing our first home was one of the most stress free processes we have been through in our lives. I cant say enough great Things about Kurt’s expertise and his professionalism. Overall 5 star experience, Kurt’s best quality is his communication. From signing on the home to closing we had a 5-month gap. He kept us up to date on everything and gave us advice when needed like when to lock in our interest rate. If you get the pleasure to work with him your in great hands!
