Larry Cushing

With more than a decade of experience in Sarasota, Florida real estate, Larry Cushing is well-versed in navigating the challenges of the market to achieve his customer’s goals. Originally from Boardman, Ohio, Larry has called Florida his home state for 42 years and has lived in Sarasota for 17 years. .

In addition to his real estate accomplishments, which include numerous sales, production recognition awards and the Senior Real Estate Specialist designation, Larry’s life-long passion for education and helping others has brought him great joy. A Master’s graduate of Colorado Christian University, Larry spent 10 years as owner and headmaster of a private school in Winter Park, FL, overseeing every aspect of the learning experience while consulting with private and commercial investors in the operation, management, staffing and business considerations associated with a successful private institution.
He has experienced in a wide variety of Real Estate sales including: Luxury Homes, 1031 Exchanges, Investment Properties for AirBnB, Senior and Over 55 Communities.

Larry and his wife of 44 years live in the Sarasota, where they started a support service for residents who need help finding trusted vendors to assisr with moving, professional staging to sell, and seasonal home watching. In his spare time, he loves to fish Sarasota Bay for Trout, Redfish and Snook, enjoys regular tennis and golf, and is a licensed private pilot.
