Larry Johns began his real estate career in his hometown of Atlanta, going to work for a prominent builder selling new construction. He quickly rose through the ranks and became sales manager for the North division. In this capacity, he was involved in sales training, management, and product development. Larry is a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Circle of the National Association of Homebuilders Sales and Marketing Council and a graduate of Georgia State University with a BBA in management.
Moving to Orlando in 1987, Larry continued his career in new home sales achieving numerous Million Dollar awards for national homebuilders. During his new home sales career, he achieved two designations through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). In 1997, he and his wife and business partner, Jill, moved to Sarasota to be close to the beautiful water. Larry continued his career with a local and well-respected homebuilder for 11 years, achieving many more sales awards. After leaving this role, Larry entered general real estate.
While working in real estate, Larry earned his Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of REALTORS® and his e-certification. He is a member of the REALTOR® Association of Sarasota and Manatee.
Larry strives to provide extraordinary customer service and communication with his clients about current market analysis, product knowledge, marketing, social media and financing, all with a high level of trust and honesty. These traits enable Larry to achieve many referrals from satisfied customers which successful real estate businesses are built on.
Larry's experience, attitude and presentation allow him to stand out in the real estate industry. He has thorough knowledge of the market from new homes and construction to all types of communities including golf, waterfront, downtown, boating and both single family and condominiums.
Outside of real estate, Larry enjoys fishing, biking, and spending time at Florida's beautiful beaches. Also, he is a major Georgia Bulldog football fan and well as NFL, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Larry participates in The Basket Brigade at Thanksgiving to deliver Thanksgiving dinners to the needy. He also contributes to the National Cancer Society. As a teenager, Larry had a brief appearance in Elvis Presley's last movie, Elvis on Tour.
