Larry began his real estate career in 1990 in California. In 1991, Larry moved to Oregon to complete college at Portland State University and immediately obtained his Oregon real estate license. Following graduation from PSU in 1993, Larry co-founded a successful real estate brokerage in Astoria, OR, with his uncle. Larry experienced quick success as a salesperson and convinced his brother, Mark to join him in 1997. The Popkin Team was formed and the brothers became the top agents on the North Oregon Coast.
In 2000, Larry sought new challenges and went to law school at Indiana University, becoming a lawyer in 2003. He is licensed in Oregon and Texas. After obtaining a master’s degree in tax law from the University of Washington in 2004, Larry moved with his family back to the Oregon coast and joined Steve Campbell, leading to the formation of Campbell & Popkin, LLC. Larry focuses his legal practice on real estate, estate planning/probate and business law. As a lawyer, Larry represents many brokerage owners, individual brokers and people who are selling “by owner” in both residential and commercial transactions. Larry has experience you can trust when it comes to handling your real estate transaction. Larry has also lectured and provided continuing education to real estate to brokers. In 2008, Larry and his uncle sold the real estate company and Larry formed Popkin Real Estate, LLC.
