LaToya joined the Engel & Völkers Tysons team to serve her clients in an all-encompassing way, linking them to anywhere in the world. Her goal is to be a walking real estate resource, providing solutions through her expertise and through the support of her hard-working team and outstanding vendor partners. LaToya’s expert interpersonal skills were honed during the 10 successful years she spent working in pharmaceutical sales prior to becoming a realtor. She’s worked with multi-nationals including Sanofi-Synthelabo and GlaxoSmithKline in roles supporting Specialty Sales, Hospital Sales and Account Management for the Department of Defense, and the District of Columbia’s Vaccines for Children Program. Before entering the real estate world, LaToya enjoyed buying and rehabbing homes with her husband to provide a special place for their tenants to enjoy. After connecting with the community in this way and discovering her passion for homes, LaToya realized that an exciting real estate career was in her future. That was 3 years ago. Since then, LaToya has met many people during her career and built a strong professional network. Born in Richmond, Virginia, LaToya is a graduate of the University of Virginia, in beautiful Charlottesville. After completing graduate school at Virginia Commonwealth University, LaToya and her husband moved to Northern Virginia and have since enjoyed experiencing fun things to do in the various communities they have lived in, including Arlington, Ashburn, and Herndon. They enjoy the cultural balance Washington, D.C., has to offer and see the surrounding area as their long-term home. LaToya loves bike riding, entertaining at her home, event planning, interior design, traveling the world, being with friends and family, and finding new ways to live life to the fullest.
