About Laura

She moved to The Villages area from Cape Cod in 2005, and she has been in the real estate business since then. She worked for Properties of The Villages for 10 years, starting out as an assistant, moving to a guest coordinator, and then becoming a sales and marketing representative. Her second year as a sales agent, she was awarded with rookie of the year with twenty-four transactions. In 2015 a street "Carver Court" was named after her, for being one of The Villages top producers.
After leaving Properties of The Villages, she studied for her mortgage licenses, and worked in that field for almost 2 years. Spending a lot of time with realtors, she wanted to get back into that side of the business. She became a Realtor June of 2018 and has loved every minute of it. Her years of experience with The Villages and her mortgage experience have helped her help her buyers and sellers.
There were three main reasons she moved there: she wanted her kids to go to The Villages Charter School, her parents live in The Villages, and the warm weather. Her boys graduated from the charter school respectively in 2009 and 2011. One went on to the Massachusetts Maritime Academy and has worked for Siemens Energy since graduating in 2013. He lives in East Palatka, FL with his wife and they are expecting their first baby in July. Her other son lives in Atlanta with his wife; both graduated from Florida State University and are in the computer/software field.
On her off time, she enjoys her dog, Claire and cat, Maggie. She also enjoys spending weekends with her kids or going to the beach for the day. Bird watching is also a favorite hobby of hers.
