About Laura
"Real estate isn’t just my career — it’s my calling." With 9 years of experience in real estate, I bring high energy, deep market knowledge, & a truly client-first mindset to every transaction.
I believe buying or selling a home is one of the biggest financial & emotional decisions a person can make, and my promise is simple: I will represent you the same way I would represent myself. My clients describe me as hardworking, responsive, honest, & relentless when it comes to protecting their best interests. Whether you’re buying your first home, selling, upsizing, downsizing, or investing, I’m here to guide you with clarity, confidence, & care.
From Social Worker to Realtor My journey into real estate is rooted in service. I grew up north of Pittsburgh, PA & earned my degree from Edinboro University of PA, where I pursued a career in social work. I moved to the Raleigh area in 2005 & spent years serving the mental health community across Wake, Orange, & Chatham Counties.I later earned my Master’s Degree in Health Service Administration & worked at UNC Children’s Hospital, supporting nursing staff & families during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. That experience shaped how I work today — with empathy, patience, integrity, & a strong sense of responsibility.
Even while working in healthcare, my passion for real estate never faded. As it continued to grow, I knew it was time to transition all of my skills in advocacy, communication, & problem-solving into a career where I could help people build stability and create a future.
A Realtor Who Goes Above & Beyond:
I attended Go School of Raleigh & interned with a property management company while working towards my license. I later joined Brian Hargrove & his team at Grow Local Realty, where I continued to grow my business & sharpen my expertise.
Early in my career, I was honored as “Agent in the Spotlight” for exceptional customer service/dedication — & that same passion still drives me today. I am also a proud graduate of the class of 2020 Leadership Academy through RRAR. There’s no “crazy housing idea” that scares me away. I love creative solutions, challenging transactions, and helping my clients win — even in competitive markets.
What You Can Expect When You Work With Me:
Strong communication & responsiveness
Local market expertise
Honest guidance/strategy
