While raised in Connecticut, Laura has also lived and worked in San Francisco and Chicago. She holds a bachelor's degree, magna cum laude, in Political Science and Education from Wheaton College (MA). After raising their three children, Laura and her husband now enjoy living in the unique island community of Harborview in South Norwalk, CT. She enjoys long beach and country road walks, renovating her 1791 Dorset, Vermont home, trips into New York City to enjoy time with two of her three adult children, gardening, travel, and coastal living.
