Laura May has an extensive background in sales and marketing and is very proud of her excellent track record. After graduating from the University of Central Florida, she acquired years of experience, first as a Marketing Coordinator for Panavision at Universal Studios and later as a Publisher for the Vail Valley Times in Colorado. Although a native Floridian, Laura fell in love with the mountains after spending many summers in Western North Carolina, finally settling there in 2002. She is an avid equestrian and owns a farm in Green Creek. As a mother, she appreciates the importance of family and the connection to the community. She has volunteered for the annual Blue Ridge BBQ Festival and the River Valley Pony Club. Laura is an American Field Service volunteer and has hosted a foreign exchange student.
