About Laura

Laura was born and raised in Lancaster County and attended Penn Manor and Lancaster Mennonite Schools. Her dad and grandpa had started a hardware store together in 1975, and throughout her life she spent as much time at the store as she could and her heart for small businesses and customer service was fostered there. She graduated from Indiana University of PA with a BA in History and pursued a number of career options after college but could never really find the right fit.

A few years after college she moved to Maine and made the most of her 5 years there, exploring the beautiful coastline, the breathtaking mountains, and everything in between. She earned her real estate license in Maine and then decided she wanted to start her career back home in Lancaster and became licensed in Pennsylvania soon after. After a few years working as an agent in Lancaster, she learned about Life Changes and the “Pay it Forward” program and felt a really strong pull that this was the direction she was headed. She is so grateful to work with a real estate group that prioritizes clients and community. Her favorite part of this job is meeting great people and helping them navigate the process to get to their goals—and seeing how buyers transform their properties!

She lives in Washington Boro with her fiancé Clayton and their Boston Terrier Jessi in a little cottage they recently renovated top to bottom. She loves to travel, read, and be outdoors as much as possible.
