Laura Palumbo-Hanson, a native New Englander, has been a top-producing real estate agent since 1985 throughout Cambridge and the surrounding areas. A homeowner and current resident of Cambridge, Laura has a longtime history of being involved not only in successful residential real estate sales but also in the community. Known for her meticulous diligence and ability to hear what people want, Laura has earned and maintains numerous real estate designations such as Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), and Credited Buyer Representative (CBR). Laura has garnered extensive knowledge over the years in the marketing and sales of a wide variety of properties including luxury estates and entry-level condominiums. Laura’s diligence and integrity truly make her a part of the community she serves. A vice president at Gibson Sotheby’s International Realty and an active member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB), she is a member of the Board of Mediators, a longtime member of the Professional Standards Committee and in 2018 she was appointed chairperson for the Grievance/Ethics committee. With what spare time she has outside her real estate career, Laura pursues her passion for cooking and is a recipe tester for Cook’s Illustrated Magazine. She is a founding member of the fundraising arm of the Cambridge Community of Real Estate Professionals, a past member of the Board of Directors for Ability Plus, and is involved with numerous other charities and schools, including the MS Society, Williams College, and The Kelly Brush Foundation where she is a member of the Inspire Boston Host committee.
