We knew Laura as a friend, and as people know, sometimes hiring a friend is not in the best interest of either party. Well, we couldn't have been more wrong in this case & couldn’t be more grateful! Laura truly knows the competition (as she has lived & worked in and around Gurnee/Grayslake for over 15 years. Laura is responsive, friendly & candid when need be. She guided us through the most important updates that buyers are looking for. She also has an amazing network of local contacts who are professional and fair in their pricing. If I had 10 more houses to sell, I would call Laura every time!

When making my decision in hiring a realtor to sell my home, it was a choice between Laura Reilly and a different realtor with a large staff. I chose Laura and it was the best decision I could have made. Laura provided me with personalized and consistent attention and advice throughout the entire selling process. She was even there when the stager, that she hired, came to my home so that the three of us were all onboard about the decisions in presenting my home. We've relocated a number of times through my career and our experiences with real estate agents ranged from good to regret. Over time we honed a list of qualities that we expect from the person representing our best interests when buying / selling a house.

The list is simple; a professional real estate agent possessing empathy, patience, talent to instill reality, quick response, deep market knowledge with experience-based respect, and long standing ties to the community and industry services.

Laura met each quality and delivered results - she allowed us to forego stress and focus on at the impending move.

Upon deciding to sell our home ($600K range), Laura evaluated the property, provided clear direction for what was required to maximize value, then sat with us to review the market, and together arrived at the right listing price. It was listed that same day, Wednesday late afternoon.  The next three days saw interested, qualified potential buyers taking tours and Sunday we reviewed multiple offers. That day we accepted a bid over asking price - the closing took place seven weeks later.

I was offered a relocation by my employee. Laura was one of few relators I had interviewed and I was deeply impressed by her professional and sharpness and I did not hesitate to ask her as my listing agent. Given the unexpected pandemic, my relocation stretched to almost 2 years, but the attitudes and responses from Laura were exact the same as we talked the first day. Every time when I had a question, no matter big or small, Laura always provided her honest comments within 24 hours. When I moved out of my property, I was fully confident that Laura can handle everything. She listed my property in 10 days including all the pre-listing activities and updated me in real time and let me feel completely involved. Offer was accepted in a week. Additionally, she had strong connections in local area. When I needed any upgrades, she immediately provided me the point of contacts and all the contactors did the fantastic jobs with the reasonable price. Laura is fantastic. If you are looking for a realtor that is professional, has the best knowledge of the market and answers each and every question promptly, you found her.
Laura came to our house for the evaluation, gave us a good idea of market value and easy to fix ideas how to improve the appearance of the house. She brought an interior designer and with her help our house looked so fantastic, we did t want to move ;-)
Our house was under contract within 24 hours and sold for over asking price.
All credit goes to Laura and her team, who negotiated in our interest. Laura also knows the best folks around to do repairs and painting etc for reasonable pricing.

Having done a lot of research up front in terms of selling options, and not wanting to pay high commissions, we put our home up for sale by owner. We received multiple offers, and even had a contract; but it fell through.

Frustrated, we decided to go with an agent. As they say, you can do it the hard way or the easy way. It doesn’t get any easier way than going with Laura Reilly. We knew the moment we met her we made the right choice.

Our home went under contract within 48 hours of listing (probably due to her staging and pictures that presented our home in the best light). She maintained a hands on approach throughout the process including being present during the home inspection and the assessor‘s review to help ensure nothing went awry that might jeopardize the sale.

Bottom line: you get what you pay for. We strongly recommend Laura for any real estate needs you are considering.

She went above and beyond for us- even purchasing last minute things for us to help us pass inspections as we had already moved out of state. If you want an agent that really hustles for you Laura is all that and more!
We went out in 20 below weather to see the house we purchased and never once did Laura complain. Its a pleasure to work with someone with great ambition and never making you feel like your causing an imposition when your running around looking at properties.
