About Laura

Laura has been in sales for about twenty years. She moved to Arkansas in 2010 to join the Ozark Gateway Realty team and is now the Principal Broker/owner. Laura started as sales agent as well as the "Gold Star" Rental Manager. After the 2-year requirement of experience, she attended the Broker Pilot Program for further education and became an Associate broker. She specializes in owner finance and lease-to-own sales but has handed most of that over to the new rental manager, Crystal Bliss. In 2015, Laura became Principal Broker and Manager, assisting her father towards retirement. She was honored by the Tri County Board of Realtors as Realtor of the year in 2014. She has also furthered her education by obtaining the GRI and SRES certification. This is the Graduate Realtor Institute and Senior Real Estate Specialist, which assists her in understanding more generations and negotiating skills. Laura has been married for 21 years to her husband Michiel and they have two children, ages 20 and 15, and several fur babies. She is in her sixth year as board member of Spring River Chamber of Commerce and holds the title of past president. She was involved with her church preschool as board member, and as financial secretary of Peace Lutheran Church of Cherokee Village. Additionally, she is licensed as Veterinary Technician, and regularly volunteers at the Cherokee Village Animal Shelter.
