Laurie moved to Washington D.C from her native state of Wyoming over 25 years ago and never looked back! Eighteen years spent working with constituents and high-powered political figures and lobbyists on Capitol Hill taught her the art of negotiation, the importance of good communication skills and the absolute necessity of being organized and focused.
Client satisfaction is crucial to Laurie and something she dedicates herself to on each project. With an attention to detail, her focus is always on meeting her client’s needs with an emphasis on negotiation and customer care. Having lived and worked in the D.C. Metropolitan area for 25+ years she brings a wealth of experience and first-hand knowledge of the surrounding neighborhoods and a fresh and unique perspective to the real estate industry.
Beyond real estate, Laurie is an actively involved resident of Chevy Chase, Maryland, and Montgomery County. She served as PTA president at both the elementary and middle school levels, was a cluster representative and voting member for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase cluster of schools, a voting member of MCCPTA , co-founder, and newsletter editor of the B-CC High School Baron Pride parent organization, board member of the B-CC High School Sports Boosters Organization, on the executive committee of non-profit organizations, Girls Up and The Young Women’s Project and an active member of her church.
Laurie is a wife and mother of two girls, Grace and Frannie. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling, trying new restaurants, and walking around her Chevy Chase neighborhood with her dog, Lulu!
