Leil Koch

Leil Koch is President and CEO of Equity One Real Estate, Inc., with four offices on Maui: Lahaina, Pukalani and Makawao. A 25-year commercial & residential real estate veteran, he has been involved in the real estate industry since 1981. He also holds the CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) designation, the CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist), CPM (Certified Property Manager), CRB (Certified Residential Broker), and MRICS (Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) designations. Koch also was awarded the Hawaii Association of Realtors – Realtor of the Year – for 2010, and the Hawaii CCIM Chapter Member of the Year in 2006.

Leil Koch was the 2012 National CCIM Institute President, the 46th President of the Institute and the first CCIM national officer to hail from Hawaii. CCIM Institute is a global organization with 14,000 commercial real estate members. Koch was also the President of the Hawaii Association of Realtors in 2000. Currently Leil is Past President of the CCIM Institute and 2020 Global Liaison at NAR (National Association of Realtors.) Leil has been approved by both the First and the Second Circuit Courts of Hawaii as a Commissioner / Receiver. He has acted in this capacity for warehouse, shopping center, office, and industrial land properties.

Leil Koch is also a student of Aikido holding a second-degree black belt (Nidan). Koch assists in teaching a children’s class in the dojo and had assisted the training of all Maui County Police recruits for an eight-year span. Koch is currently on the Board of Directors for Maui Ki-Aikido and chair of the Endowment Committee. Leil also is President of Pueo Kea Olive Orchard, LLC – an olive oil company starting production in late 2016 of extra virgin olive oil & table olive delicacies.
