Lou Sagatov retired from Sagatov Associates, Inc. in September 2012. Sagatov is an award winning Design-Build- Green firm specializing in high-end renovations and custom homes.

A leader in green, sustainable construction, Lou started the NVBIA Green Building Committee in 2006. The committee was instrumental in introducing Energy Star for Homes and the Green building to the northern Virginia area. Lou was one of the first local builders to receive the NAHB Certified Green Professional designation.

Recognized by his peers in 2008, Lou was selected the NVBIA Builder of the Year.
