Prior to Leslie becoming a licensed Realtor, she worked in the construction industry for 30 years as a project manager/engineer and quality control representative for one of the top 25 construction companies in California and Hawaii. She also acquired a General Contractor's license in California in 1992 and has overseen the construction of two of her own homes. Having this construction background is a bonus to her clients by having valuable knowledge, instinct and a trained eye as to a home's quality and construction. This background also assists her clients when purchasing vacant land for new home construction. Leslie has contacts in all facets of the construction industry in Hawaii, which is extremely helpful to someone considering building a new home.
Leslie also does property management in Hawaii. She provides management services for both mainland property owners and local property owners, who do not wish to handle their long term rentals in Hawaii themselves. It is of the utmost importance to keep an owner's property rented by providing great advertising, in depth screening of potential tenants, a watchful eye and notifying the owners of any necessary repairs and maintenance that may be required. She has acquired a select group of skilled and honest handymen, as well as plumbers and electricians, to assist in any needed repairs.
