Homes.com Review

As first-time buyers, we had no experience with purchasing real estate. Some level of stress was to be expected. Then we found this listing with “too-good-to-be true” pricing, and Lisa was listed as one of the contacts. I had emailed all 4 realtors about showing, and Lisa was the first to reply. Of the 4 realtors, only Lisa mentioned that the house was considered to be in the flood zone, and a mandatory flood insurance had to be purchased. Extra insurance premium was a deal breaker for us. I did make a note of how prompt and honest Lisa’s response was. Three weeks later, we found a condo at an online auction. I contacted Lisa and asked her to place a bid for us. After winning the auction, real work to purchase that property began. Looking back, I am certain the process could not have been executed better. After reviewing the initial Sales Contract, Lisa gave her professional opinion. She explained that the contract heavily favored the seller, providing strict deadlines for “good-faith deposit”, inspection restrictions, 4 weeks to secure financing, and other requirements. Lisa advised us that her ability to serve our interests would be limited under this contact. Honest and direct is Lisa’s style! At this point, we followed Lisa’s recommendations with financing, legal and inspection services. It is because of the continuous communication circle between Lisa, the mortgage company, and the attorney, we were ready to close on the pre-set date. There were some hiccups on the seller’s side, but our attorney got everything resolved on time. Our emails and phone calls were answered within an hour or two. Lisa not only has a thorough knowledge of real estate business, but also a team of professionals who work just as hard as she on clients’ behalf. Her referral database is another great asset you gain by working with this agent. She knows many local businesses doing work for her clients, so her recommendations are based on direct feedback. And these companies recognize her name as soon as it gets mentioned. We’ve used three of her post-closing recommendation and been satisfied. She is definitely one of the main reasons we now call ourselves homeowners.

I was referred to Lisa by a friend, and could not have been happier with the results. I purchased my first home and was new to the whole process of buying a home. Lisa walked me through it every step of the way in calm, friendly, experienced, and honest manner. I had heard horror stories from friends and family about their real estate transactions with agents. I have no idea what they are talking about... From the first moment I sat down with Lisa, to the day I moved into my new home (and even today) I always felt that she had MY best interests at heart. What I found most amazing about Lisa, was that she listened. Based upon each property that we saw, she listened to what I liked and didn't like about it and was able to narrow down each new property closer and closer to what I wanted, until she found me my dream house! One year after I moved into my new home I injured my knee playing sports and needed surgery. Lisa got wind that I was going to be bed-ridden for a couple weeks and came over to check up on me and brought a family-size home made Lasagna so I wouldn't have to cook! That's just the kind of great person she is. I would highly recommend (can't stress this enough) Lisa to anyone looking to buy or sell a home... you may even get a Lasagna out of it ;)

Homes.com Review

Wow……….where do I start? I met Lisa in an odd way – I went to look at a house that she was the listing agent for and had a few concerns about the property. I was not contracted to an agent at the time and I decided to call her directly about these concerns, and she was responsive and extremely professional – she got back to me in record time, I was actually dumbfounded, I never expected her to respond. I immediately felt a connection and in the back of my mind decided that when I was ready to seriously start house hunting again – she would be my agent of choice. When I was ready, I did some research and all her reviews were as I expected, so I gave her a call, and reminded her of how we met – she remembered. That’s what I love about Lisa, besides her being the expert, and the professional that she is – she actually cares, its not just business as usual, she takes every single concern you have seriously, and walks you through your options without making you feel like you have to be locked into a specific choice, and most importantly she remembers small details about you – I had told her I was mildly asthmatic and what some of the triggers were and she never forgot. So if we went to look at a house and she thought my asthma could be triggered, her first question would be ‘can you do this, are you okay?’ If my response was, ‘I don’t think so’, without hesitation we left the property. She is just an amazingly nice person – despite the fact that she is a no-nonsense negotiator, she has referrals that can help you after you move into your new home, and she follows up with you to make sure you are coping through the move process. I cannot say enough about her skills. I remember being at the closing and telling her that the process was not intimidating or daunting as so many are led to believe or actually experience – the thing is she walks you through the process beforehand and as a consequence you are so prepared it seems like a breeze – at least that is what it was for me, and I do have to thank Lisa for that experience. So if you are looking for an agent who is attentive, responsive, detail oriented, honest, someone who will clear the ‘cobwebs’ of the processes of home buying and keep you informed every step of the way, look no further……….Lisa is the way to go!!
