About Lisa

In the twenty years+, Lisa has practiced real estate as an agent, she has been committed to continually expanding her knowledge of the real estate processes, knowing our area’s inventory, and following the ever-changing pulse of the regional market. Her experiences have helped her to discover that knowledge is the key to a happy real estate transaction for her clients and they have been consistently appreciative of her abilities that kept them updated and well-informed throughout the transaction. Homes have always interested her, but the desire to work in the real estate industry came to her during her career as a full time Probation Officer for Allegheny County. This was not one of those “delicate” jobs to say the least and it taught her be persistent, determined, and diplomatic in problem resolutions. Real Estate has allowed her explore and pursue her passions for homes and she thrives on finding that perfect house for her clients to call “home”! Her experience has helped her to provide excellent service to all her clients. She is most passionate about working with first time home buyers, those who are downsizing into the next phase of their lives and introducing our exciting dynamic city to those relocation to our great City of Pittsburgh. She has loved this job ever since the first class she has taken in Real Estate. She graduated from Fox Chapel High School, B.S. from University of South Carolina, Masters from Indiana University of PA, Alumni of PI BETA PHI Fraternity and she has been involved with Junior League of Pittsburgh, Cystic Fibrosis, and the Rachel Carson Homestead to name a few of her community involvements. In July of 2019 she retired from Probation so that she could focus 100% on real estate. This transition has served her well as she also partnered with a longtime friend, Patty Ann McLaughlin, to form a partnership in Elliott McLaughlin Realtors. “Two heads are better than one” is right! In 2022, Patty Ann, herself and Mary and Tony Scafede became the EMS GROUP. The Four of US have nearly 100 years of experience. Service is extremely important to the Group. Together they work diligently to assist their clients with all their real estate needs. They look forward to working with you too – they strive to create life time clients.
