Lisa Hoeve

In November 2015, Lisa family started a nonprofit called Hope Pkgs. As a foster family, they were witness to a need most children have when entering care. Too often the children enter a foster family's home with nothing except what they are wearing or a garbage bag. Since its start, Hope Pkgs has provided over 700 first-night bags for kids entering care.

They also believe in reaching out globally and have sponsored a boy, Marco, for over 15 years through the Compassion Organization. One person cannot help everyone, but everyone can help one person.

She has had the joy and privilege to help her husband build and stage parade homes. They enjoy renovating homes using their own elbow grease and experience.

Traveling to warm locations is top on their list as well as simply discovering a great dining experience close to home. Summer day trips to Lake Michigan or a beautiful color tour in the fall is always on their calendar. West Michigan has so much to offer.
