About Lisa

Lisa Duhe Lourd was raised in New Iberia, then moved to the Carolinas where she garnered over 20 years experience in outside sales. The Duhes are a third generation sugar cane farming family in Southwest Louisiana, and has a strong presence in her hometown. Lisa was accepted into the 2016 Leadership Iberia program, is a board member of the Sugar Cane Festival and co-chair of the highly successful Stars of Style fundraiser which has aided tremendously in the rejuvenation of this beloved festival. Lisa is a founding member of Teche Classic Movies, and sits on the board of the Parich Foundation and Iberia Habitat for Humanity. She was recently nominated and captured the 2017 Berry Queen title of Her Royal Highness, raising funds for Iberia Habitat for Humanity, and serves as their spokesperson throughout the year. Lisa is loyal to her community, passionately dedicated to the betterment of that community, and most of all, relishes being home again, surrounded by her family and friends, and where she remains steadfast and true to her roots.
