Relocating to Connecticut from Southern California we didn't know what we didn't know --and had so much to learn. Lisa McCarthy helped us understand the towns and neighborhoods in the area and was an enthusiastic ambassador. She patiently encouraged us to explore West Hartford and environs while allowing us to make up our own minds about the locations that best suited our specific needs, interests and desires.

We toured many homes (often in heat wave conditions!) and she soldiered on beside us without complaint --on time, flexible in regard to scheduling and always quick and professional in her responses via text/email/and phone.

We were particularly interested in 'antique homes' and she was thorough, experienced and knowledgeable in helping us understand the challenges and responsibilities involved in such a purchase. Lisa was sincere and earnest in helping us with our concerns, going so far as to help us research various aspects of antique homes and helping secure expert advice when it came time to make a decision.

Lisa cared about the success of our investment in regard to long-term resale value as much as we did!

She was also conscientious in guiding us through the home inspection and closing process and we credit her with bringing several important issues to light that we definitely would have missed without her.

Lisa was generous in sharing contacts for home repair and renovation that she has established over a long career in the real estate industry and a lifetime of living in the area.
