About Lisa
Lisa was born and raised in a big, crowded city in Texas but yearned for a different lifestyle from an early age. Having been afforded opportunity to travel quite a bit early in life, she knew that there would come a day when she would have to explore a permanent change in scenery. That change in scenery came in 1992 when she traded in her city shoes for hiking boots and headed for the mountains. She had been working for Philmont Scout Ranch in the summers while she was attending Southwest Texas State University and fell absolutely in love with everything about Northern New Mexico. After graduation, several of her friends and she decided to be ski bums for a year and headed for Angel Fire. She took a position with the Ski Patrol in Angel Fire and now, twenty-eight years later, she is still happily here. She has put down roots and loves it as much as she did the first time, she saw it. She thinks you will too.
