Lise was so easy to work with. She came prepared with great listings and I don’t think we saw a bad property. She helped us get our offer in fast and which got us to the front of the line and ended up saving us money because we got accepted fast. We even had a problem come up with our bank backing out of our pre-approved loan and with her connections she was able to redirect to us to the right people who helped save the day. I highly recommend her.

My family decided to purchase a vacation condo in FL. Lise Murphy did a fantastic job of finding us exactly what we were looking for in this very limited St Augustine, FL market. She kept on top of monitoring the listings as the popped up so we would have the best chance of snagging the best unit possible. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy a home in St Augustine.

We bought a house from out of state without being on site. Lise was amazing - doing video tours, arranging for inspections, checking with city ordinances and even helping put together contractors and servicemen to help us after closing. I'm considering buying another rental property in the area just so I can continue to work with Lise. She has set a new high standard for real estate expectations!

The short version is … Lise isn’t out to sell you a house, she’s genuinely focused on guiding you down the path of finding the right home. Here’s why:

Not surprisingly, we had a lot of things on our list. Some of them – like being able to walk to the beach and walk to downtown – were mutually exclusive. Others, such as single level or being able to accommodate the installation of a lift, were more about ageing in place. Our months-long journey became equal parts home search and soul search as we traveled to and from New Orleans touring homes and lots in diverse locations as far north as Ponte Vedra and south to Marineland.

Is this sublime oceanfront lot worth a half hour drive to town? He says yes, I’m equally enchanted by the white sands, rhythmic waves and salt air but leaning more toward a more realistic no. Lise took the initiative to check in with some contacts to learn more about the logistics of building and living there. We opted out.

How about a stilted house six blocks from the beach at the east end of a canal reflecting the glorious sunset, but with lots of red flags regarding previous construction permits and zoning? Lise was like a sherpa guide helping us navigate the ins and outs of due diligence in order to make an informed decision. Again, thanks to her proactive advocacy, we opted out.

In addition to the pragmatic examples above (I could include more, but I’m trying to not write a book) Lise was invaluable when it came to homes that should have been a perfect fit, but for some reason we didn’t feel it. Rather than telling us what she thought, she asked insightful questions to nudge us along the path of homebuyer self-discovery.

When we finally discovered our perfect compromise of waterfront, downtown, space for a lift, and the added bonus of historical significance; a surprise health scare gave us pause. Despite weeks of meetings with contractors and architects preparing renovation plans to submit to the Historical Association Review Board for approval, we reluctantly acknowledged that even with a lift this wasn’t going to be the ideal home to age in place. Lise’s unwavering support made an extremely difficult decision less heartbreaking.

During an extended recovery period back in NOLA we spotted a listing for a single level mid-century modern on a beautiful lot less than a mile from downtown. Lise suggested and arranged for a zoom walk through before we headed over. No waterfront or walking to the beach, but enough other attributes to make it a serious contender. We made the trip and were smitten. Once again Lise jumped into high gear coordinating the inspection and other contractors to come in and give us bids for electrical work, fumigation, flood proofing, etc. A small snafu delayed closing, but as usual, Lise was in right there to advocate on our behalf.

We now have our life home. Lise's professionalism, expertise, and enthusiasm made the process of finding it a pleasure.

Lise was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! She's a kind and genuine person, the type of person you feel like you've known forever. She was very professional, experienced, knowledgable and honest. Lise explained everything in a way that was easy to understand & was always available to answer our questions or concerns. Sharron had come across an interesting little condo in Palm Coast. She contacted the agent, Lise, and we met with her. As it turned out, Lise was also one of the owners. At first we felt that, being an owner, she may more strongly promote her condo over others. Not at all! Had we not known she was an owner, we never would have suspected. She was informative but not at all pushy. In fact, she almost insisted we view a few others that were on the market. Though we did look at a few other units nearby, we were already convinced that hers was the one for us.
Not only did the meeting go well, but Lise ‘’held our hands’’ throughout the closing process, making sure that we were provided as much information as she could give. She was quick to respond when we called, texted or emailed. If there was something out of her knowledge bank, Lise would put us in touch with the right people to assist us with those situations.
Lise and her husband, Kevin, have now become good friends. We always enjoy their company. I would certainly recommend Lise as an agent to assist anyone with a potential real estate purchase or sale.

Unfortunately finding an agent that can make purchasing real estate a pleasant experience is rare. Lise is the exception. She was our agent in an extremely complex real estate transaction and if it wasn’t for her, we probably would have walked away. Instead Lise was there for us every step of the way and turned a situation that could have been a deal breaker into an (almost) stress free purchase. She is the best! Thanks to her we ended up with a property we love.
