Liz Sauler

Liz Sauler is a native Marylander. Some of her favorite memories are from childhood weekends on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries—boating, crabbing, and soaking up time with family and friends. That connection to the water never left her, and it’s exactly what drew her to St. Mary’s County a few years ago. This year, she’s making the leap herself, relocating from the DMV to Leonardtown for a slower pace of life, more time outdoors, and a deeper connection to the water she’s always loved.
As a former teacher, Liz brings patience, clear communication, and a genuine investment in people to everything she does. She also has years of firsthand experience buying and selling property—including managing long- and short-term rentals—so she understands the process not just as an agent, but as someone who’s lived it from every side.

As a Certified Military Relocation Professional, Liz has a special passion for helping military families navigate moves to and from NAS Patuxent River with less stress and more confidence.

Outside of real estate, Liz is a maker—painting, sewing, working with clay, always creating something. She’s a wife, mom to one son, and proud rescue-dog parent to two. At Deep Roots, she believes real estate is built on relationships, not transactions, and she’s honored to help clients—especially fellow native Marylanders and those drawn to this area for the same reasons she was—stay grounded through one of life’s biggest changes.
