Lois went above and beyond in working with me to find a home. Even when I was sick she video called me to show me houses. That shows her dedication to her clients and her extreme effort to help. She works very hard at finding exactly what you are looking for. Lois takes plenty of time to explain each house so you feel comfortable. On top of all her effort Lois is amazingly friendly, which makes your house hunting not feel like a chore but a fun day out. Thank you Lois for everything!

Words cannot describe the value of Lois Long. She is an amazing, caring, selfless woman. She is a night owl, paperwork savant, a not afraid of showing homes in the dark kind of realtor! Lois assisted us in purchasing and selling of our first home as well as the purchase of our forever home. We were able to put our first home under contract in a matter of days as well as secure a contract on our forever home. As a first time home buyer she took the time to explain everything in detail as many times as it took. She would not move forward on anything unless we understood. She did the same as we sold our first home. She gave wonderful money saving advice in terms of renovations and worked tirelessly on both sales. She deserves far more than any commission she has earned, and is well worth it. Lois is knowledgeable on all things related to real estate and works to stay up to date. You will guide your buying/selling process she is unbiased on all counts. She is family and after you meet her you will understand why!

It is going to be extremely difficult for me to put into words what Lois Long meant to me during the sale of my home and purchase of a new one, but i will try. Right out of the gate I asked her to sell my home located in an area that she wasn't familiar with (80 miles away from Cape Girardeau) and she didn't blink an eye. She took the time to explain the steps in the process and made sure that my wife and I had a good understanding before throwing a sign in our yard. As it turns out, our yard didn't need a sign, she was able to sell it in three days without one. Not only did she sell our home quickly, but she sold it for 4% over what we expected it to sell for. My wife and i couldn't have been happier, but that happiness quickly faded into a slight panic when we realized that we would be without a home in 45 days. Once again, Lois put our minds at ease and presented us with a handful of homes that met our specific criteria. Within ten days, Lois had helped me, my wife, and our infant son receive an offer on our home, make an offer on another, and make plans to move our little family 80 miles. For the sake of full disclosure, I did have a great friendship with Lois before the process began, but after, my respect and admiration for her as a person, friend, and realtor has grown tenfold. I have thirty years to pay back the bank but I will spend the rest of my life trying to repay Lois for everything that she has done for my family. Thank you again, friend.

Lois handled our purchase with patience, grace, hard work and honesty. She answered every question we had & made sure we understood the whole process. Not your "typical" realtor! Lois is an exceptional person and I would recommend her for any real estate transaction.

Lois Long helped my husband and I find a home. After having discussed our various "wish list" items, she compiled a day's worth of showings. She let us take our time as we walked through about 7 houses in one day and listened to our feedback after each house. A few days later, a new house appeared on the market that piqued our interest. She set up a showing on what happened to be a "white out" day of snow and ice. She still met us at the house (which was even on a hill) in the wintery conditions without complaint. After a few days of prayerful discussion, my husband and I decided to make an offer the day before Lois was going out of town for a conference. She managed to fit us in and walk us through all the formalities before leaving for her trip. Even while she was gone, she served as a very good liaison in negotiation. When we finally agreed upon a price and conditions, she made a terrifying process a lot less terrifying. She was great at managing the inspections and walk-thru. I didn't have to coordinate anything except when I physically needed to be somewhere. She gave us recommendations, when asked. I literally would have had no idea what to do if Lois hadn't have helped. We are now happily in our new home and are forever grateful to the exceptional customer service Lois gave us.
