As a native New Mexican, Lois Sury brings her clients a wealth of knowledge about the local area. Having graduated Summa Cum Laude from Eastern New Mexico University with degrees in sociology and business and having spent time in both government and education, she has a positive, energetic approach to real estate.
Lois is dedicated to finding her clients the real estate they are looking for efficiently and energetically; whether it be a first-time home buyer, investor, or second home they desire. Her 28 years of experience, knowledge of the Santa Fe real estate market, and the buying and selling process details will make the real estate venture a fun, positive, exciting, organized, and learning process.
Lois has also served in numerous leadership positions with the Santa Fe Association of Realtors, as a member of the association's board of directors and executive committee, and as a representative director for the Realtors Association of New Mexico. She has also chaired various committees.
Lois' peers have bestowed her the honor of the 2007 Realtor of the Year award, which is one of the highest honors given to a Realtor. The award is based on how one upholds and exemplifies the REALTOR® code of ethics, industry professionalism, participation in local, state, and national Realtor associations, and community service.
In 2010, Lois was president of the Santa Fe Association of Realtors. She has furthered her real estate education by acquiring designations on her license, including ABR, CRS, GRI, E-pro, RSPS, TRC, GREEN, AHWD, SFR, CIPS, and C2EX. She has also earned a Santa Fe Specialist designation, a course she helps create to provide more knowledge to real estate professionals about Santa Fe real estate. In 2021, President Danny Vigil of the New Mexico Association of Realtors awarded her the Peggy Comeau Leadership Award, "in recognition of her loyalty and selfless contributions to the New Mexico Association of Realtors."
She enjoys visiting and getting to know her clients personally while helping them fulfill their real estate goals and dreams. Outside the office, Lois can be found enjoying her greenhouse and her love for nature and gardening.
