Lonnie proved to be a great realtor and even better person to work with. He went above and beyond in every respect--from treking across the District with me to helping me move a chair into my condo once we closed. He is more interested in building relationships with his clients and working with them than trying to get them to do what he thinks is best. You couldn’t ask for a better realtor than Lonnie Whitehead. I am new to the DC/Northern Virginia/Maryland area and Lonnie was a great help in navigating the area. He made me feel like I was his only client and was incredibly responsive to my calls and texts. He graciously accommodated my last minute requests to view properties in this tight market. I bounced around from garden style units, townhouses and ultimately decided on a condo. He listened to my concerns and tailored the showings based on my previous comments of what I liked and disliked. Lonnie is awesome. He made the home buying process as easy for us as it could have possibly been. We came in lost and he put us at ease at our first meeting. He was patient with us as we narrowed down our scope, responsive at every turn, and did a really good job of gauging what we were looking for. Moving from the west coast to Virginia I contacted Lonnie. I let him know what I was looking for, my price range and area. He was quick to respond and kept in good contact despite our three hour time difference.

Lonnie deserves 10 stars!! First of all, he got me a screaming deal on the home that had been vacant for a year and negotiated every term to the tiniest detail and getting the price way below the assessed value! I also had to get 5 different home inspections that he coordinated to all happen at the same time which was quite impressive. Lonnie was also very informative about each step of the home buying process which was so comforting as this was a big purchase for me. Now off to purchase my next house with the best realtor around the DMV... Lonnie Whitehead!!!

Read to the end, it is worth it. We previously used Lonnie to buy our first home and had an amazing experience. When it came to selling our home, we went with Lonnie again and we couldn't be happier. As our home was quite old, we knew we had to do some renovations in order to get top dollar for our home. With that in mind, we met with Lonnie back at the beginning of the new year to get his ideas on what renovations we needed to do to command top dollar. Fast forward to the end of June, we finally finished our renovations. After discussing with Lonnie and taking in the renovations, he listed our property on July 5th. I am happy to say that because of Lonnie and his expertise, we received and accepted a full price offer on our home on the morning of July 6th, with the seller paying their own closing cost. If you are looking to sell or buy a home, you would be doing a dis-service to yourself by not using Lonnie. Not only is he friendly and honest, his knowledge of the local market and the wants of today's buyers is unparalleled. Years from now when we sell our current house, we will be reaching out to Lonnie once again.

Lonnie helped my husband and I buy our first home in 2018, and our experience with him was exceptional! He put us at ease right away in explaining the full home buying process, and he was patient and thorough throughout all our tours of potential houses. I was impressed with each discussion we had about pros and cons with each potential offer. Ultimately he helped us in an aggressive market (NoVa) and season (spring) to see our current home within a few days of it appearing on the market. Lonnie was hands down, a top notch Realtor to work with. He went above and beyond our expectations.
