About Luis
Luis Velasco is an alumni of California State University, East Bay. Luis graduated in 2004 with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Management. Upon graduating Luis, worked for Alliance and Ticor Title for three years. There he obtained his knowledge for the escrow process, understanding the transaction life cycle and the importance of clearing title properly prior to close of escrow.
In 2005, Luis obtained his real estate license and began working for Calnet Real Estate Solutions. There he worked as a real estate agent and as a mortgage loan officer, learning the process of qualifying buyers for purchase and refinances as well as contract negotiations, listing services, and disclosure requirements for buyers and sellers.
Then in 2007, Luis began working for Meridian Property Company, a commercial developer based in northern California that had nine (9) medical office developments spread throughout California. Hired originally as a transaction coordinator, Luis quickly grew out of that position and was promoted to their Asset Manager position. Luis was involved with assisting in everything from marketing materials, website content, transaction supervision, brand recognition, project entitlement, and property management.
In 2010, Luis was given the opportunity to become a full time Independent Commercial Property Manager for many of the office parks that he managed while at Meridian Property Company. With the support of the developer and the owners in all the office park Luis left Meridian and began to develop Kinetic Real Estate.
For the past few years, Luis has dedicated his expertise on developing the processes that he believes is important to each agent at Kinetic Real Estate in order to ensure client success. Kinetic Real Estate is designed to be a full service real estate company that benefits from its many facets by allowing sharing of information and trends between departments. Luis believes that all real estate is intertwined, but only understanding one aspect does not give you the full picture of the market.
