Lutalo McGee is the proud Owner and Designated Managing Broker of Ani Real Estate (ARE) and Team Leader of The Ani Team and The Green Team. ARE is a minority-certified commercial and residential real estate brokerage in the Chicago Metropolitan Area that serves everyone from first-time homebuyers to seasoned investors seeking commercial opportunities.
In a little over fifteen years, ARE has grown exponentially by basing its work on an unshakeable dedication to providing clients and customers with reliable, quality, and professional service. They have merged time-tested best practices in the industry with current technological advances to provide their clients and customers with the best representation that they can find.
As a real estate practitioner, Lutalo has been a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, the Illinois Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors for 16 years, and he was a Top Producer for CAR in 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021. In recent years he was recognized and awarded the Chicago Association of Realtors 2019 Managing Broker of the Year and the 2020 Chicago Association of Realtors Community Service Award.
Lutalo currently sits on the Board of the Chicago Association of Realtors and the Executive Committee of that board is on the 77 Diversity Committee for the Chicago Association of Realtors and chairs the Sales Award Advisory Group. He is also the current National Chair of the Real Estate Committee for Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated.
Throughout his career, Lutalo has dedicated himself to serving my brokers and clients to the best of his ability by staying informed and aware of the current best practices in the Real Estate industry and the nuances of the legal landscape they practice in. Along with possessing the coveted GRI designation (Graduate Realtor Institute), he is an Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR), a Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE), a Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), a Broker Price Opinion Resource (BPOR), a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), a Receivership Institute Specialist (RIS) and a Certified Commercial Investment Member Candidate (CCIM).
Lutalo also owns Ani Development Group, in which he develops residential property for rent and sale.
Before his professional career, Lutalo attended Eastern Illinois for undergrad, and Cornell University and National Louis for graduate studies. When relaxing, you can catch him with his family, riding his motorcycle, playing video games, watching the Bears/Bulls/Cubs, and/or traveling.
