Lynda Brown is an experienced ambassador for investment property owners at the Lake of the Ozarks, bringing over 33 years of property management experience and 20 years of real estate experience at the Lake. Her passion for the Lake lifestyle and helping property owners succeed has made real estate and vacation rentals not just a career, but a true calling.
Lynda began her career in property management in 1993 and earned her Certified Apartment Manager® (CAM) designation in 1997. In 2006, she obtained her Missouri Realtor license and began pursuing her passion for real estate at the Lake of the Ozarks. In 2012, she founded Vacation Rentals in Lake of the Ozarks, focusing on providing quality vacation rental management and memorable experiences for guests.
In 2017, Lynda obtained her Missouri Broker’s License and opened Lake Ozarks Realty & Rentals, specializing in Lake of the Ozarks real estate and nightly vacation rentals. In 2022, she became a Certified Resort & Second Home Property Specialist (RSPS), further strengthening her expertise in the unique needs of resort and second-home property owners.
Throughout her career, Lynda has remained actively involved in the Lake community and real estate industry. She has served on the Executive Board of the Lake of the Ozarks Vacation Rental Association, the Southwood Shores Homeowners Association, and the LOVRA Public Relations Committee. She is also a Past President of the Lake of the Ozarks Rental Association. Lynda currently serves on the RPAC and Public Relations Committees with the Bagnell Dam Association of Realtors.
Lynda is passionate about helping investment property owners maximize the potential of their properties while providing exceptional service to both owners and guests. Her extensive background in property management, real estate, and vacation rentals gives her a unique perspective on what it takes to successfully own and operate a property at the Lake.
Outside of real estate and rentals, Lynda’s greatest joy is spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren. She loves making memories with them by exploring Missouri’s beautiful state parks, swimming, visiting local water parks, shopping at Dogpatch, enjoying ice cream at the Ice Cream Factory, and experiencing all the fun the Lake area has to offer.
