About Mahalia

Originally hailing from Florida and Montana, I’ve been fortunate to call Asheville home for nearly a decade. My husband and I were drawn to the area by our passion for the outdoors, particularly mountain biking, hiking and canoeing. We now live a stones throw from the Bent Creek Experimental Forest and love the easy access to trails and the ability to zip out for a quick ride in the woods at a moments notice. As mom to 3 little girls who are already crazy about riding bikes and all things outside, I can’t wait to watch them grow up in our sweet little mountain town. Prior to receiving my real estate license, I spent 15 years working in the outdoor industry, primarily running a successful outdoor store. My interest in real estate stems our decision several years ago to start investing in real estate as a vehicle to fund our daughters’ college educations.
