About Malayna

Hi, my name is Malayna!

I grew up surrounded by people that truly showed what it meant to work hard, take pride in achievements, care about others, and love one another no matter who they were and what they were going through. My grandfather owned and operated a grocery store and deli for at least 34 years in Hanover, MD. My dad and his siblings helped run the business for many years as well before they ventured off into their own businesses. When my dad left the store he became a Mortgage Lender and was soon followed by my uncle who also became a Mortgage Lender. I was raised surrounded by family who worked in the real estate industry which is why I got my real estate license as soon as I could.

One of the things instilled in me by my dad was to always do my best even when times got hard. His lessons are the reason I got a raise at my first job because I did such a good job keeping the bathrooms at Bob Evans clean. When Covid came around, I lost my job, just like many others, and decided to take a break from real estate, however as time went on I was not content just sitting at home, so the first chance I could, I got a job again. I got a job as a receptionist for a construction company and I re-instated my real estate license.

I have always taken pride in the work that I do which is the reason why I have been able to work my way up at every job I have had. The reason I re-instated my real estate license is because I have always enjoyed helping others and as a Real Estate Agent, I can do that. I have made it my mission to help my clients make there homeownership dreams come true, no matter where it leads me. I can and will serve all areas of Maryland from the ocean, bay, and streams of the Eastern Shore to the mountains and lakes of Western MD. Malayna was outstanding! With a long history of family in the real estate business, Malayna clearly shows her worth and gets the job done when it’s needed most. Even in this extreme sellers’ market with people paying over list price left and right, our initial offer was accepted on our dream home even with many other offers on the table. She made sure to show me the home prior to it going on sale while in “coming soon” status which usually cannot be done without a realtor. She knew that would be the one for us. I could not thank her enough. Thank you Malayna!!
